Trust Score

Accountability You Can See

Every organizer on EventSplit has a public Trust Score — a 0–100 rating built from real data: events completed, receipts uploaded, reports filed, and collaborator ratings. No self-reported claims. No manipulation.

  • Collaborators use it to decide which organizers are worth working with.
  • Sponsors use it to filter events on the Marketplace.
  • Organizers use it as a competitive advantage to attract better talent.
  • Score history is tracked over time — you can see if an organizer is improving.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is EventSplit a securities or investment marketplace?
No. EventSplit is an event planning, expense tracking, and reporting platform. It facilitates private agreements between event organizers and their collaborators. We do not operate as a securities marketplace. Always consult a qualified professional before entering into financial agreements.
Who can see the event budget and expenses?
You control visibility. Event organizers control what information collaborators and sponsors can see. By default, collaborators see only the information relevant to their specific arrangement.
Are the agreement templates legally binding?
The templates are provided as starting points only. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before use in any live event.
When is the distribution fee charged?
The distribution fee (1–3% depending on your plan) is only charged if you use EventSplit to process and transfer payouts to collaborators after the event. If you distribute manually outside the platform, no fee applies. The fee is deducted from your net profit before collaborator shares are calculated, and is always shown upfront to all parties.
Can I share my funding offer publicly?
Yes. You can generate a shareable public link for your event project, a private invite link for specific collaborators, and a public poll link to gauge audience interest.
What is the Trust Score and can I hide it?
The Trust Score is a 0–100 public rating for organizers based on event completion, expense transparency, report submissions, and collaborator ratings. You can choose to hide your score from the public Marketplace, though this may reduce trust signals for collaborators and sponsors. See the Help Center for a full breakdown.
